Thanks for this. I guess it shows that there is not that much interest in current EMUs - especially those in the South.

I was disappointed that the 390 was not offered as an option in this poll - the reason given was that Dapol were going to make it (and we now know it is at least 2 years off) It would have been interesting to see how many votes it would have got.

Just had a look down the list and I'm surprised the 59 isn't higher.

The FVX Motorail Flats are more than likely going to be made, especially as I've started converting some old Lima MK1's into them 

I'd buy the LMS Twins as well, not not my era, but just love the early Diesel Prototypes, a Fell Diesel anyone 

Oh and totally agree with the MK2 d/e/f choices, would be top of my shopping list as well.


So from a Post Modernisation period modeller, not that many surprises.

Bugger!!  That confirms it - any manufacturer out there willing to make a Networker or Electrostar kit.  I'll buy a couple it's gonna be the only way I can model the North Kent line...    :'(

Having said that - Can you have a Schools on Excurtions on the North Kent? I am sure I can find an excuse...

The 325 was the only one that made the top 50, doesn't mean other emu's weren't voted for, they just didn't get enough votes.

i voted for a class 70 (old type) or a 74 as well...

i can't remember which emu i voted for now.... it was a manchester or midlands type iirc...
