Does OO count as swearing?  :hmmm:

It does if you put a B in front and after. Very naughty.

Surely mention of Sula nebouxii is OK?!  :D
2021-07-02... Following a review of evidence, Soldier 'F' (formerly of 1st Battalion, Parachute Regiment) has been acquitted. In an unequivocal ruling, Mr Justice O’Hara found none of the Crown's evidence should be admitted to the trial. The cases against Soldiers 'A', 'B' and 'C' have also been dropped.

Do we need an angry thread?  I may be wrong but this seems to me where all the ranting comes from.

But, Shirley, the two go hand in hand?
We are an angry race. Currently the Angry thread is far more popular than the Happy thread.....
Happy thread 342 pages
Angry thread 478 pages

Personally I will remove all ill concealed swearing using e.g. asterisks, spacing etc but am fine with the censored symbol as I like to let folks imagine what I was saying to myself should they desire.

My mother "How dare you swear in front of me?"
Me "Sorry - I didn't know it was your turn"

Jeez, I checked in to see what subjects might be worth looking at this morning and the biggest topic by far is about swearing. Is there really so little else going on in the world of N right now that this hits top spot??

I think most of the angry thread can be put down to a few prolific posters.

But the whole point of the angry thread, surely, is to concentrate ill-tempered posts into one place, where they can be ignored. The oft-enjoined phrase is: if you don't want to be upset by it, don't read it.

Well one things for sure my little post pushed this post to the front, you can’t beat a good discussion. Has for saying “OO” maybe swearing it is to some, let’s face it the more people that get into model railways no matter what the gauge can only be a good thing.
