A careless sudden change of direction jammed my Prairie's con-rods.  Is there a way for me to correct this or does it have to go back to Dapol?   :helpneededsign:

Should be possible to sort that out with fine pliers/tweezers, if nothing is actually broken. Looks like the crosshead has come off the slide-bars and the connecting rod has wedged itself behind the coupling rod pin?

From what I've seen of Dapol rods and  valve-gear assemblies they seem to use very fine but bendy metal, easily squished by fingers.  Curious that a simple change of direction would cause that, something must have been bent or loose already.

Thanks for the encouragement.  That and a craft knife managed to get things back in what looks like the proper order.

Would a frozen prarie be a tundra?

Now it is running again, moor or less, it should be plain to see that if I pampas my Prairie, that will not be a steppe too far.
