Congratulations to her

Bob G

Another happy day.

Today my Car Insurance firm retracted its claim that I didn't have 12 years NCD and reinstated my policy as it should have always been. This was a real case of computer says no, firm takes money without your agreement, and you waste your time until you finally talk to a human.

All in all, Ker-ching! Time to buy a train!

Or, knowing you, at least 3 of the same thing :D

My car got stolen and I used my tracking app to recover it. The insurance company paid £3000 to fix the interior damage then sent me an email saying as the car had been written off and I had reclaimed it, they needed an MOT or my insurance would be invalid. Apparently the automatically write stolen cars off as they don't get them back intact. Took me several calls before I gave up and phoned the complaints line. The guy I spoke to, after an hour and a half, finally got it sorted and today I got a letter confirming it. Happy days.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Nice one, Malc.
Maybe not on the scale of Nigel Farage, but victories like this should be celebrated :D

Quote from: grumbeast on July 26, 2023, 06:30:40 AMSo i don't normally post stuff thats personal.. but I am beside myself with joy and pride right now.  My little girl (not so little 5'8 and 16yrs old!) after dancing since she was three, and after an incredibly challenging couple of years, has just been told that she's been accepted to Canada's National Ballet School!!!

Good for her. Let me know if she needs any names of reliable tutu suppliers

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

The only things I have three of (or more, in the case of green 33s or 4-CEPs) are there for renumbering purposes.
Now if you had said two of the same thing, then I am guilty as charged on green 108s, blue 108s... strictly standing in for 117s/118s/119s until they arrive next century.

Thing is, I have been selling off my NSE bubble cars to make room for more transition stock :)
In fact I'm in selling mode right now...

(Best 'Kryten' voice) "I'm sorry, Mr. Rimmer, but I'm in selling mode" :D

I have 3 x green 121/122 so can't help with your sale. 2 are dummies and were such good prices in a sale it would have been rude for me not to have bought them.
