Looks like parts of Aus. near George @Bealman are getting flash floods today.

Yeah, it's pretty wet here at the moment. Raining quite heavily as I write this, actually!  :rain:

Too wet, too dry, you lot are never 'appy. You're like British farmers!

Keep your feet dry bloke!

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

----------------------------------------------------------

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Your sites? I never realised you were a property magnate :admiration:

I'm not yet although I have been canvassing for funds to be one

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

Well, you've made a good start, there seemed to be plenty of canvas there.

About 25 years ago, ish, I used to do an awful lot of clay pigeon shooting. We're talking 3 out of 4 weekends at a local club. There was a good little group of 6-8 of us who went round together with all sorts of mickey taking and abuse and trying to put each other off. Whatever the weather, we were there. Including once when it was coming down like stair rods. It was that wet only about 30% of the clays would come out of the trap intact. If you had two 'No birds' in a row you had to tip your barrels down to empty the water out. We eventually quit half way through the round as we were the only club members out, there was a risk of doing costly water damage to the guns, and also the increasingly dangerous risk of water in the barrels causing too much pressure build up on cartridge detonation leading to bulging a barrel, splitting a barrel, breech bursts or other such things, which could potentially maim or kill.

Looking back through more mature eyes, we were crackers, verging on idiots.

If the weather we have at the moment is moving eastwards, then I would say yes.
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
