Rumer has a very pleasant voice and it works well here in this setting @port perran and @Bob Tidbury

The Pink Fairies is a completely different kettle of fish @Newportnobby I saw them live at the Roundhouse, London in 1975, where they were joined by some of Hawkwind, it was very loud and there was a strange but pleasant smoky haze in the auditorium. Stray was the support act. I particularly like "War Girl" from "Never Never Land" along with other little ditties such as "Do It" and "Uncle Harry's Last Freak Out"...

My last CD purchase was "Black Acid Soul" by Lady Blackbird 10/10 if you like smoky jazz.

Cheers,

Tim

PS I am still flying the flag for Claire Hamill

Moonglum I have nearly every CD from Rumer including her two early CDs  when she formed a group called La Honda and then one With Rory Moore called Stereo Venus .
Just the odd single that I havnt got .
I really think she has an amazing voice its been compared to Karen Carpenter by most of her fans .
Bob Tidbury .

Not half bad for kids, althought "Ballroom Blitz" could have been better.

Without sounding too harsh they could do with a dedicated vocalist.

Reminds me of Sunday afternoons in the 60s.

I used to listen in my bedroom while my dad listened to Semprini Serenade in the living room.

Didn't like the Clitheroe Kid much  :(
