I had a bit of a splurge after a series of disappointing eBay purchases. I vowed not to buy second hand anymore, so ended up with this little clutch of new GF locos :) Class 47, Class 37, Class 20 and 08. I have a class (petroleum) and another 47 (distribution) on the way.

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

<*))))><

LOL.....I'm ballasting the back of the track so everything is a bloody mess at the moment. I will be glad when its all done and dry as the disruption makes it feel like I'm taking a step back.....Damn my OCD

I can explain it to you...

So, didn't want one. Then I thought, "If I don't get one, they'll never come round again". Then I thought, "It doesn't fit with anything I'm doing".

Then Rails had one on FleaBay with their usual make an offer do-da. So I got tempted, what can I say, I'm weak.

£87 including postage. NO idea what I'm going to do with it but hey-ho, who doesn't love a large roster?

I do love the unusual.

I was in the same situation when they came out. A Clayton in Oxfordshire??
I just wanted one and, if they'd done a double pack with one loco as a dummy, I'd have had that instead. :D
