I waited a short while for someone to say something like that. Thankfully I couldn't tell you the name of a single song by them but it seems @Newportnobby probably has some of their CDs.

The only thing I would say about pet insurance is that I have a dog now, previously had two cats, with the cats I did the put the money aside and pay the vets as and when.

With the dog (soppy Lab) I have the insurance not only as the potential treatment bills could be huge and happy to pay a small excess on that, but that it also provides public liability insurance so if the dog caused an accident or issue I won't have to pay out my own pocket and settle what could become a significant claim.

I had the same issue with my ex, who was very quick to savage people

Revolution have shipped my last 2 Pendolino's, great, Royal Mail got them to Heathrow ready for departure in a day. Handed them to Australia Post, and they have now sat for almost 2weeks waiting for space on a plane to get to Aus. I was hoping to run them this week, at this rate I may get them by Christmas   

I ordered and paid for a Tomix 3 lane engine shed from Hobby Search In Japan just after the Tokyo Olympics. (2020).
It was picked and posted just in time for all flights in and out of Japan to be grounded.
So it has spent the last 3 years living like Tom Hanks at Tokyo Nagoya.
Moch to my surprise it arrived last week.

A bit long-winded - sorry. I have just spent two hours trying to pay a bill! What a palaver. I firstly transferred money from my savings account to my current account, on line, no problem. Then I tried to set up a new payee so I could pay the invoice I had received, which is from a company in Scotland. I received a message that the IBAN was wrong.  . So I checked the 'Help' pages which said, for an International payment, I had to visit my branch. I was loathe to do this, as it is a 50 mile round trip and I have a tooth giving me bother, so I need to get that sorted. I rang the helpline and a young lady, (not sure where, but she was certainly not Irish), eventually suggested that I check the IBAN and if necessary, would have to visit the branch.  . Checked the IBAN with the receiving company - I had it correct. I rang the helpline again and a gentleman said he would set it all up for me. So I gave him all the details, but even he could not set it up! I rang the company again and the man I am dealing with gave me details for a bank in France that should accept my payment in Euros. Put all the details into my bank for a new payee, made the transfer and no problem. Now I am not blaming Brexit,  , but, to pay a company in Scotland, I had to send the money via France! 
Now to ring the Dentist.  .
