Can anyone point me towards some free online translating software please. Ive got a nice document come in and I need  to read it through. :-\

babelfish or google translate will handle the major languages ok, but be careful doing translation that way - it's very easy for it to turn out a completely believable, consistent and wrong translation with things like the sense of something inverted. I guess comparing the two may help.

I use Bablefish mostly. http://uk.babelfish.yahoo.com/
Worldlingo has more languages, but the pop-ups are annoying!  >:( http://www.worldlingo.com/en/websites/url_translator.html

If you want a good laugh, try translating something from English into another language, then back again.

The tools are better but there used to be contests to reverse the damage done by going English-Russian-English or similar
