Well the Colletts have arrived, very nice model

Unfortunately this is the 147, I had ordered the 109, I have Emailed Ann Baverstock and she very helpfully is organising a replacement  but I thought you'd like to see it.

Hatton's pre-owned listed today 5 Minitrix Gresley coaches in maroon for £18 each (£15 ex-VAT).  While I have a few Minitrix Mk 1s and think they are well made, I was unsure about the Gresleys.  So I turned to this forum as a resource and after reading this thread http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=22516.0, I snapped them up as fast as I could.

Nice coaches Matt.  Those Minitrix teaks were years ahead of their time.  You got a good price too.

Kind regards

BARRIES'S TRAIN SHED - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I grew up in the North and therefore didn't see much network south traffic, but after watching plenty everard junction and berringer, I have grown to quite like the livery, which resulted in the pre-purchase of this which finally arrived in NZ this week!

I can tell my interest in the railway scene dwindled in the late 1980s 'cos what my memory says is a Scottish 47/7 looks plain wrong in NSE livery  :D

Another maroon BR Mk1 SK for the collection.  This time an Eastern Region example, E24538.  I think the only BR region that isn't represented on my layout in some form is the North Eastern; I've got Western, Midland, Eastern, Southern and even one Scottish coach.  I have it on good authority that this is a pretty accurate reflection of traffic seen in the area in the 1960s.
