Graham

very happy afternoon, after a disheartening morning. This morning I checked the tracking number of my Stobart 92 ordered from Kernow only to find it was still stuck in Australian customs. Then this afternoon it magically was delivered. How it got out of customs at 9am, through 2 mail sorting houses and onto the delivery round that quick is amazing.

Will post a pic when I can

Nice surprise from the Postcode Lottery yesterday. Seems I've won a prize in their draw and they offered me 22 books to choose one from. The only sensible option for me was this......

I look forward to a good read of a book I probably wouldn't have bought :)

now finished fitting our new doors and windows very impressed with the quality and standard of fitting
left every thing clean and tidy although the garden has been flattened a bit but no way to avoid that

so anyone in the south i can recommend Warmer homes of Dorchester not cheap but good quality

Looks nice - is it burglar-proof  ;)

Nah - there's a ghost burglar inside with his jumper caught in the letter box

Judging from the photo, it's an anti-snap, anti-drill, anti-bounce, anti-pick euro lock. Did it come with a flat rectangular key?

Don't lose it!

I can explain it to you...

yes the key is like that and weighs more than my other five keys put together i can only get replacements from the manufacturer

So you do not lose the key, tie it to a piece of string and hang it just inside the letterbox - nobody will think of looking for it there.  :smiley-laughing:
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

They're the best locks you can get for composite and upvc doors.

I got exactly the same Mick @Newportnobby . Chose the same book too. Wasn't sure if it was a dodgy email at first but it seems genuine enough

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

Oooh, an unexpected email from a lawyer asking to confirm my bank details so they can send me some surprise money. Even better, it is 100% genuine for once.  :beers:

Bealman

Yes, I got some money I wasn't expecting this week, too.

Always nice!

@Trainfish Having not even heard about their prize draw I wondered if it was iffy, too.
Been doing the Postcode Lottery for 3 years so it's cost me £360 but I've had 5 x £10 wins and just need that big win which will enable Judie McCourt to come round and give me a cuddle :D
Of course, the odd £10 win is just so you keep paying in.
