Dizz

We have 2 Large Munsterlanders, Brian and Buffy (brother and sister).

Jon898

Our Shelties, Gennie on left and Robbie on right (his weird looking eyes are a result of the flash):

and sacked out:

They say Shelties are like potato crisps, you can't just have one...

The Q

excuse the edge of thumb,  but this is so border collie...  Our current one.

We have two tortoises - Capel and Dewi.
They'll be saying "night night" tomorrow evening and will, hopefully, snooze happily through until late February or early March.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Meet Mikey, Luna, and Bilbo.
Mikey and Luna are my son's, who we look after 5 days a week during work hours. Both are 3yrs old.  Mikey is allergic to most things and has to have a special diet, and an injection once a month to desensitise him, you don't want to know the Vet bills.
Luna the Sha Pei is very sweet, but also very timid, unless it's on the other side of the glass, in which case she's very brave and vocal.
Bilbo is ours, we rescued him almost 7 years ago and he had "issues"!  Suffice to say if you broke in, you probably wouldn't get out again without suffering a great amount of blood loss, but with us, he is just a 36kilo lap dog.  It'll break my heart when he checks out.

Cheers, Trev.

Time flys like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana!

In the White corner, weighing in at 4.2kg, we have Penfold, 'The Destroyer of Worlds'.

Currently in training for his next round of destruction. To date he has caused £600 of damage in the house, including my Kef speakers, a bookcase, and picture frames. He was a rescue kitten from the Blue Cross five years ago. His favourite things are warm radiators, dried chicken treats and poking our other cat. Dislikes cuddles, being manhandled and being told off.

In the Black corner, weighing in at 3.2kg, we have Chaos, a.k.a. 'D.L.P.', 'Daddy's Little Princess'.

She was a five week old feral kitten when we got her fifteen years ago, along with her sister Mayhem who we lost to a car at the age of three. Her favourite things are cuddles with daddy, sleeping on the bed and sleeping. Dislikes Penfold!.

He loves to provoke her and chase her round the house. She eventually decides enough is enough, turns on him and kicks his arse. No damage is done, but it's quite comical to see him suddenly realise he's in the firing line!

I love them both dearly.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

----------------------------------------------------------

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Hot news about Lexie (see reply #4)...

The dogtor will see you now. (Yesterday, with grandbaby Oli, aged 2.5)

Cheers,

Chris

Trainfish

It's about time this thread got going again so I'll kick it off with 1 of our 4 cats Betty. She's struggling to understand the concept of a bird table:

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

My wife has a three-legged greyhound who lives in my house. This is Ruby. I dared to stop stroking her for a nanosecond.

She did have 4 legs until an incident with a rabbit hole while running. Doesn't faze her in the least.

Malc-c

Just to brake it up from the normal cats and dogs....

This is Charlie - taken in 2016 so he's grown since then, now he's finally topped out around 8' 9".  He's one of 11 snakes, five of which are ones I've bred over the years.  In 2019 I produced my first ever BEL, the result of around 8 years of planning.

But we've always had dogs as well, well German Shepherds to be precise, the last two were both rescues form Battersea.  The first was Bess who I had a strong bond with and she got ne through some dark periods of my life

And our current GSD - Juke who lives up to his gormless appearance

Beach Halt

A mad English Setter, but great gun dog.

Your famous blue raincoat was torn at the shoulder
You'd been to the station to meet every train.

Kirby acre's is a cat house; we have 4.

Biskit, a ginger and white tom who's the smallest of the bunch.
Cookie, a calico. She takes after her name somewhat at around 4kg.
And the we have Sparkle and Twinkle; brother and sister tabbies. Sparkle is around 4kg but twinkle tops out at just over 6kg (and is the windiest of the lot. Frightened of his own shadow the daft lump).

Fortunately my train shed is at the bottom of the garden outside the cat run but modelling on the dining room table can get quite interesting at times.

Kev,

This is Tilly, a Kelpie which is an Australian sheep herding breed whose bloodlines originated in Scotland 150 years ago. Tilly likes to hunt joggers and cyclists so she is never let off the lead on public pathways. Unfortunately, joggers and cyclists are groups who mostly have a limited sense of humour and don't appreciate being rounded up.

On your recent visit, Tilly was an angel! She's lovely. :beers:
