A band I've just stumbled upon and I have to say, I'm quite impressed.
This is Illuninae with a single from their album  Dark Horizons which includes input from Steve Hackett (Genesis) and John Helliwell (Supertramp) and others.
A big sound :
And....if you like that, try this (and there is a link between the two bands) :
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Thanks Martin @port perran (somewhere on his way to Scotland). Ian Jones is the link. Both good tracks (and video) but I think I prefer "Moment in Time" by Karnataka. The singer reminds me a bit of Judie Tzuke.

Cheers,

Tim

Quote from: Trainfish on November 26, 2024, 12:21:35 AMI will of course be seeing Aussie Floyd again next November in Bath as the tickets go on sale on Wednesday this week

Almost qualifies for the angry thread. Tickets went on sale today but you have to buy the seats allocated to you at Bath Forum rather than the seats you actually want  :veryangry:

I'm going to see what happens when they go on general sale on Friday to see if I can get the seats we want  :worried:

If at first you don't suck seed, get the wife to use the old fashioned method and call the box office. 4 tickets now purchased for the end of row B. We wanted the 4 seats just in front in row A but happy enough with these. Getting excited now as it's only 361 days away  :claphappy:

Train Waiting

The Glenn Miller Orchestra.

This film shows them performing a number of interest to us railway people, with Mr Miller deferring to Tex Beneke.

Please note this is the real thing - not a clip from the excellent Glenn Miller Story.

Proper music and music which, all too soon, would help motivate millions of people unite in a fight for freedom...

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.
