Usually the stereo costs more than the car and drowns out the rubbish engine

Not really, they just go out and buy another rust bucket.
Buy?
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

I am meant to be at Hampton court flower show today but the car would not start this morning
so call the recovery company i am a member of had some one out with 30 minutes
the starter motor has gone bang so nothing he could do
no chance of getting it fixed
the recovery company got us a hire car but was to late to arrive make setting off worth it
so that's £114.00 quid wasted

Anyone out there know St. Swithin's address?
I'd like to send a hit squad round there as I'm starting to develop webbed feet ::)  :rain:  :rain:  :rain:  :rain:  :rain:

Or send him down here for a holiday... All the rain seems to miss us in the Mid-Sussex dustbowl  :( .

I think you're all making stuff up. I was there 5 weeks and it didn't rain once!
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

Feels like it's rained every day in July, and sometimes for 24 hours
It certainly rained all day/night on Saturday and then we had more all day Sunday, but Sunday's I blame on the Aussies

Hi

Definitely has been very wet for the last few months. Image below from my weather website which gets its data from the weather station in the back garden.

I think it is because I arrived in the UK. should be ok for the last test as I leave tomorrow for 4 weeks.

According to local news Preston got 111mm of rain over the weekend, more than a normal July month total

Maybe they'll be useful, yet :hmmm:

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

I'm currently (2014 hrs) sat in a garden near Hailsham so not quite mid-Sussex but I am still wearing a T-shirt and shorts. I think it rained earlier though before I got here.
