Hand milled recess with only the bogie removed...

and more of a "chop" with the bed plate removed.

Repairs - not everything has to be sent away - you can fix most thing's yourself. Ask and help will be provided.

Waiting for the RTR version? - why not try a kit?

Some complain, allude, and assume an awful lot - stop your whining and get on with something positive.

Quote from  J C Bose in 1901...
This multi-millionaire has come to me like a beggar for making some more profits. Friend, you would have seen the greed and hankering after money in this country, - money, money - what a terrible all pervasive greed!
My translation of this - Not everything in life has to be about making money - make someone's day instead.

My layout, Bridgebury Gate now has its own website...

and the 3DR shop where you'll also find the NGF MPV, assorted cabs etc...

Dapol HST - Update
« Reply #31 on: January 08, 2017, 12:42:20 am »
I have written several threads about the Dapol HST and the issues I have experienced (along with many others)

Moderator Comment Threads merged to keep it all in one place

Dapol very kindly replaced my power car..and since they declined my offer to return the old one..I ventured inside it and with full instruction from "RusselH"...accessed the commutator and cleaned it thoroughly. For some time now it has been running nicely under the Virgin Train body (which came with their replacement power car). Just wanted to say this continues to run beautifully and here it is..9 cars up..albeit half Virgin half Executive. I have seen many a mixed set in the past in actual use so don't feel too bad..lol...
