Station buildings
« on: November 19, 2012, 10:50:08 PM »
I want a nice station building for moorside, but i dont really like the looks of metcalfs country station, and the mainline one is too big.

Is there any decent station building kits that would look good?

Plus my friend wants to make it, shes determined to build something on this layout so i said she could do the station building but i cant seem to find a good one.

Metcalfs wayside station building set looks perfect but alas its only in 00 gauge!

Please and thankyou

At this point. Drop them an email I believe they plan to shrink it.

Have you looked at the Scalescenes range of buildings ? They do not have the exposed corners that Metcalfe have and the medium station may be suitable for your needs. http://scalescenes.com/products/R004-Medium-Station-Building

Yep, the Scalescenes stuff is pretty good and IMO better thought out and finished than Metcalfe. You can download and print off some free sample to check them out. And there was an article about building the freebie low relief warehouse in N'spirations9.
