Lima Siphons
« on: October 02, 2012, 09:42:10 AM »
Oh great collective,

I cannot put my hand on my N'Spirations collection at the moment, but I can remember that in one of them, No5 I believe, Grahame mentioned that the bogies in the Lima Siphons can be made to look better by replacing them with some from Dapol, but for the life of me I cannot remember which ones they are.

They are either the B Set Bogies or the Autocoach ones.

Can someone please have a look and tell me please??

Ta

Neal.

Hi, Neal

Yes, it was indeed N'spirations 5.

The bogies recommended are from the Dapol GWR Autocoach, spares ref. NBog2. If you need the fitting instructions, just let me know.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Alex

Even better you can simply swap the body onto the Dapol chassis and use the Dapol body as a grounded store or similar. It's a near perfect fit.

Alex,

Thanks for the info, I'll order some bogies.

Thanks for the offer, but I must find my copy anyway, but if I can't I'll come back to you. I'm sure Grahame won't mind someone scanning the article and sending it to me, unless he can send it to me directly.

H you there?????

Regards

Neal.
