Ain't that the truth?!  ::)

Do a Google search and you'll find many people have outstanding back-orders with them that have never been fulfilled or refunded (me included), and no they don't answer the phone and constantly state that their e-mail is not working. Steer clear!

thanks Upnick, I'd already looked at a lot of the US Based websites, but ordering from the US just cost too much to justify what is just going to be an experiment.
I wanted possibly 2 or 3 set of coupling sets, which works out to be any thing from $15 to $25 in total for the parts, but then the postage tends to want to add another $30 to $50 on top.

Hi AndyGif,

Is it essential for your experiment that you have the coupling 'pockets' that come with the 1133 and 1134 MT couplings. If not, then the 1129 and 1130, respectively, couplings are exactly the same but supplied without the pockets.

Unfortunately, 1129s are like the proverbial 'hens teeth' to find here in the UK but 1130s are shown as in stock at Nairnshire Modelling Supplies. These are the 'long' version of Rapido replacement MT couplings ( same as the 1134s).

Hope this may help.

smileyface it was the clip pockets i was after to see how/if they work with the newer fatrish clip ons.
I've got a stash of 1128/9/30's already but you have to trim the T's a bit to make them fit farish rapido pocket, not to mention having to file the metal housing down as well.

Have you tried LSWR Models?

http://lswrmodels.co.uk/n-scale

If you scroll down about 2/3 of the page he has some couplers listed.

I have bought some off him at a show.

Hi

I have the same problem in my case I am after a pack of 1019 but no one in the uk appears to have stock and buying direct from the USA is too expensive in terms of carriage.

Cheers

Paul

Just noticed a Banner on RMweb for P&H models that was showing the carry micro trains items.
They havent got the MTL 1133/1134 listed or any of the 1128/29/30 T shank series either.
I've sent them a email to see if they would be willing to get some in, i'll keep you all posted as to the outcome.

Had a reply from P&H today.
They have no plans on carrying MTL1133 or MTL1134 as standard stock items on their website, same goes for the MLT1128/29/30 series of T shank conversions.
However they willing to add my order on to their shop order going out probably in mid November for delivery probably towards the end of November.
So if any one else wants some perhaps a message to them will get you what you want too or perhaps persuade P&H to carry some extra types as stock.

I was going to use Microtrains couplers but have changed to B&B and have a few packs left.  From memory I should have some 1015/16, 1129, 1130, 1133 & 2004 just a few packs of each except 1129's of which I might have half a dozen. If I can find them I'll put them in the classifieds as a job lot, it would probably be too expensive to post them individually from here in Spain.

my order from P&H arrived yesterday, much ahead of when they estimated it to arrive.  Great service!
