I've put a Digitrax DZ125 in my 14xx, fits nicely and have put a Digitrax SDN144PS in the autocoach for sound and lights.

Today I managed to make and fit working loco lamps using drilled out Langley loco lamp castings, a bi-colour led and a bit of fibre optic for the autocoach and a SMT Led and resistor for the loco.  Will try and take some picures tomorrow of the results.

I'm going to do another one this week and will photograph the process and try and do a photo tutorial.  The parts are extremely small so not sure how this will turn out.

I just bought one of these models second hand.  In BR green livery with the later crest, with shiny chrome wheels.  I mention those details in case they help others decide what run it came from.

Did the whole lube thing per the instructions  It has a bit of a wobble but I can live with that as it otherwise runs like a dream and will pull 4 Mk1s on the flat without any problem.

Did these models come with a "bag of bits?"  I've noticed there is a hole at each end clearly for a coupling hook to be fitted, but no hooks came with the loco - which being second hand is fine.  But I am curious.

Interestingly, this little engine feels like it is heavier than the Dapol M7 I also recently bought (second hand again), even though the M7 is considerably larger.  Is this correct, or should I open up the M7 and see if a weight has been removed?  Maybe I should ask about this on the M7 thread.

Mine didn't. They are indeed a spot heavier than the M7 and generally behave slightly better.
