Alan, how come we both know it is Total N Gauge, but write it as Totally N Gauge, which I think is another firm entirely?
I was only in there a couple of days ago and, whilst not a huge amount of stock, there is enough to make a trip worthwhile - mainly UK outline. Some of their room has been taken up by the fact they they are longer only selling N, but also have a OO section (washes out mouth with soap and water).
I find that Malc's Models in Ilkeston has a good US outline stock, and you can spend a bit more time rooting around all their sections as the shop is bigger - but it is in Derbyshire, so depends where in Notts the OP is camping.

Gee Dee in the city centre has a reasonable range of Dapol and Farish and quite a lot of modelling necessities, but prices are on the high side.  There's also a Modelzone in the centre which I guess is not much different from Modelzone anywhere else.

Take a look also at Sherwood Models in Arnold.  Rather a random selection but sometimes has some good stuff in N.

Meant to go into the Arnold shop, last time I was on one of my regular trips to the City hospital - must put it on my appointment card, to remind me next time.

Thanks for all the advice, I've been to modelzone and Sherwood models today, got a few bargains at modelzone which was a surprise, Sherwood models was very cluttered to say the least and was all top prices on everything!!

Gonna find total n gauge tomorra hopefully as got more money to spend!!

Cheers

Probably best to ring first to check opening times.
