The Hattons Website still shows them as a pre-order item.

If Hattons have some of the ones that have been flown over for review, and the rest are on a ship on route, then they wouldnt need to advertise them as coming in at all, if they have more pre-orders than they have had locos supplied. Just a thought.

On RM Web Graham Hedges mentions that he checked with Hattons and it isn't actually in stock.

Definitely worth those who have had money taken contacting Hattons I would say..

Hi Contacted Hattons earlier this evening noting Dapol have yet to release model and waiting review of new tooling so this is a bit of a glitch at Hattons.
As of 1945 no acknowledgement from Hattons viz this issue.
I have however had a refund for the noted overcharge from website prices and  I noted that my pre-orders had had price upped with out consultation- apology for this and note that IT on the case to correct - I will wait and see if gremlins get fixed overnight!
Shame I was looking forward to the 33 - just have to wait a little longer for the corrected model.

Hi everyone,

Just to completely clarify this for you all awaiting his model.

I spoke to Richard Davies ( M.D. Of Hatton's) earlier tonight and this is indeed a glitch.
Primarily caused duri ngtheir stocktake with the wrong goods entered into their system as being in stock, and the system then mailing and debating credit cards.

I'm sure they will credit your cards etc once everyone is in either tomorrow of Monday morning.

Sorry but it was plain human error.

I've been asked by Hattons to post this to clarify the mistake.

Thanks Dave, I hope all is well at DJM.. We all make mistakes which is ok if we can admit to them like Richrd Davies but why did he ask you to apologise when he could doit himself?
Sorry, thats more for him to answer rather than you.

Possibly because he is not a member on here, knew Dave was and wanted to get this sorted quickly in which case fair play to him.

Kind Regards

Had an email from Hattons apologising for the billing error this morning.
Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up for a short while.

Not to worry, Bob
It did seem odd for them to have crept into the country, though ;)

Hope you're right, Robert, and that the green with SYP version is with the blue ones! :claphappy:

The Hattons Website still shows them as a pre-order item.

There is nothing anywhere on the Web or Dapol website I can find mentioning their release, nor was it in the weekly Hattons e-mail update I receive.

I would be inclined to check with Hattons to make sure it isn't an error.

Roy

Dapol website says Q2 2015 for release.

Eagle eyed members may have noticed that Dapol have now changed this to Q3 2015.

Dalays and Price hikes!

I'm already buying back Farish versions of the BB/WC I sold in early anticipation of the Dapol WC/BB. And I don't blame Bachmann for re-bagging the J72 back from Dapol. Problem is we have is few new models coming out, compared to what was promised, and what we are getting is dearer than expected. I cancelled my order for a weathered Cockade as the price hike and the quality of the weathering wasnt worth the extra money.
I also cut back all my NSE Mk 2a and 101 DMU pre-orders to focus on my main eras, again because of the price hike. I really do believe these most recent price rises will hurt the industry a lot.

Still want a new version of the 33 though, as the 27 is a lovely model, and its vital for a southern layout.
Come on Dapol.

I keep looking at Dapol's web site and it still says expected this quarter. The're running out of time !  Anybody got any inside information as to the likelihood of September or maybe this year ?

And while we're about it anybody know if the class 50 will arrive this year ?
