Thank you and please keep the updates coming, Ian. :heart2:

Should have the railway room back at the weekend as the Christmas visitors leave on Saturday and can get back to working on the layout again, getting severe withdrawal symptoms  :(

Can then do the video of the Blue Pullman with twin sounds decoders, finish off the Dapol pannier sound install tutorial and do the DIY Dapol light bar tutorial.

Thanks Mike, glad you liked the layout, that's the benefit of being retired you get to finally do what you really want to do.  Been working on Bampney my branch line station for the past couple of days and hope to have some more pictures soon.   :thankyousign:

Another little update with some pictures of my Bampney station which is based upon Brize Norton & Bampton station in Oxfordshire.  I'm just hoping to catch the flavour of the original and have used the info found on Martin Loader's Fairford Branch website to model my reversing loop branch line station.  There's still a bit to do with some more detailing but I hope you get the idea.  Sorry for the quality of the pictures but I've had to use my phone camera as I'm having problems with my normal camera at the mo.  Here's a link to my Fairford Branch thread on the NGF http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=6590.msg75103#msg75103

Here's my re-creation of one of the scenes of the original

View back toward the bridge but in my case it's a tunnel  :)

Very nice, Caz
Your layout totally belies its size - there always seems to be heaps of room :)

Perhaps it's my wand that creates the illusion, my ex mother-in-law used to think I was a bit of a witch, but I might add, only because I used to do aromatherapy at one time and she used to think I was mixing up potions when using the oils.   :smiley-laughing:

My word you do set a high standard "whiteswan". Your photo's show how well the model stacks up to the real world. A real inspiration  :)

Thank you Stuart, glad you like the layout, still quite a bit to do but due to a car accident recently not much has been done for the past couple of months and so no updates have been posted  Now all mended (car quicker than me) and hope to actively start work again on the layout shortly after I've hoovered off the layer of dust that has accumulated in the meantime.

Next update should be the completion of Bampton village with lighting etc, all the street lights etc arrived just before the accident as did the TomyTec tram track which will require a small baseboard modification to incorporate it in the layout and we then should have working trams as well.
