Loco KIts
« on: May 24, 2020, 06:39:22 PM »
Hi,

After some help, where would I go for loco kits. Interested in anything used in the South East (SECR/SR)
Not made loco kits before but fancy having a go. Not a lot around in the "ready-to-run" market

Help/guidance appreciated
Thanks

Mark

Check out Gareths pages on the workbench thread @thebrighton

Read, admire and weep regarding the skillset this man has and the quality of these rare beasts that he has the ability to continually turn out!!!!,

BH models, P&D Marsh, Worsley Works (if you want a challenge), Langley Models, and ebay for all the ones out of production.  There are also some very good 3D printed bodies on Shapeways.

Start with something simple like an 0-6-0 that runs on a standard Farish chassis before progressing to models that require you to add wheels and bogies.
