Hi Martin,

Nice pic and story continuation. Had wondered where you'd got to. Thought maybe you had a Bristol City nose bleed being so high up the table early on  :D. Hope it wasn't something horrible or serious  :worried:.

Glad you're back, great stuff, and keep it coming.

Cheers, weave  :beers:
Nothing serious at all. We had visitors for a few days.
I don’t play golf but spent 4.5 hours on Monday wandering round Perranporth links course with Lorraine’s son in law, watching him play (and looking for lost balls).
I still have no hankering to take up golf !
However, a couple of pints and a pasty in the bar afterwards went down well.
As for the football. It’s going really well. I shall be settling down to watch City play Villa tomorrow evening in the league cup.
I’ll get round to fixing it drekkly me ‘ansome.

The visit of Tommy Fishlock and Amelia Trewoon to the beer garden at "The Station Hotel", Cant Cove, was the subject of much gossip by the regulars and staff. The fact that the clearly very excited young lady ended up footing the bill was a particular point of discussion and, very quickly, reached the ears of the local PC on his next off-duty visit, the details being solemnly noted in his pocket book.

Thanks for the recent excellent photos., Martin. I wish that I could have a photo. of "The Station Hotel" beer garden to match the excellent story.

That same evening, after a long soak in the bath, Amelia Trewoon, called her best friend. She was eager to share all the details of her weekend away with Tommy Fishlock.
She was so happy and was overjoyed when her friend agreed to meet her at their local pub.
By 8-00 that evening, the pair were seated at a corner table in the County Arms, Truro.
“I just had to tell you Alice”, started Amelia nursing a glass of white wine, “I’ve met the most wonderful man and I’ve had the most fantastic weekend. I just had to tell someone about it”
“Oh do tell”, replied Wendy, “I’m all ears. I had no idea that you were seeing someone again after you broke up with that weedy Dominic Revell”.
“It’s been a whirlwind”, Amelia gushed, “I met him in town on Thursday evening. He is so very good looking, charming and generous. And, guess what, he has a Jaguar convertible car”
“Tell me more”, continued Wendy, “How old, what does he do, where does he live?”
Suddenly, Amelia realised she had no idea as to how old he was, where he lived or even what he did for a job. “Oh, I’ll find all that out when I see him next weekend. He is simply so very good looking and he is so charming. He took me to the Watergate Hotel. We had a fabulous meal and even had champagne at Cant Cove. His name is Tommy. Oh, and I remember now, his surname is Fishlock.
Wendy’s face dropped, “You, you’ve been away with Tommy Fishlock? Oh my dear, oh my dear Amelia. What can I say?”
Amelia took a large gulp of her wine, “What’s wrong Wendy, what’s wrong with Tommy. He makes me so incredibly happy”……….

I’ll get round to fixing it drekkly me ‘ansome.

Oh oh.
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with him.
