PS. Do read the letters page. The Shirebrook article had its critics...

Haven't got the journal yet (international post is a bit slower these days) but did reread the Shirebrook article - lovely layout, lovely pictures, (short) text marred by the author's utterly superfluous polemic about set track and train sets. It would have been enough just to mention they were fortunate enough to have the space available to build it and bring out the mentioned benefits of N.

We had a guy at work who used to produce huge quantities of bread pudding (yum!) and it was said that he had a bread pudding mine at the bottom of his garden!

Regards,

Alex

Mine arrived here in sunny Japan the other week, only slightly delayed.

Having just read my issue from cover to cover, I'd like to congratulate Neale @NeMo on an excellent edition, be it A4 or A5!

I also think it's fantastic that no less than four articles are by NGF members!! Well done to you all!

I missed out on getting mine sadly.  I think I must have paid my renewal too late.  :(  Lovely to hear that NGF members were in the Journal.
