Tewmuch (track)
« on: February 24, 2020, 08:00:45 PM »
So around a year after posting on the planning forum Iíve made a bit of progress and thought I would share where I am.

After a couple of comments in the planning thread Iíve decided to call the layout Tewmuch (as in too much track on that small a space)

Track is mostly down and all the points are wired to the control board on the front.

No scenery done yet but I have also added sound to one line on the mainline.

Iím also working on a mimic board which will show the selected route on each loop

The concept is not perfect as I had a limited space but Iím pleased so far. Next steps are the mimic board wiring, building a bunch of wagon kits and sorting out automatic points change at the end of the shuttle run.

Maybe Iíll post again in another 12 months to update this.

Mike

P.s. not posting doesnít mean Iím not reading the boards it just means I know I canít add much to the wealth of knowledge already here

Cheers weave  :beers:

A very apt layout name but it must be huge fun/scary to operate! ;D
The control board looks most impressive.

That looks to be a very neat job all round.

Yep, it sure lives up to it's name!

Your control system is very impressive.
