Here's my second OQ in gloss blue, awaiting details and (probably) lining too.

The vestigal upper slide bar remains; I'm mulling a cosmetic bracket and lower bar from scrap brass etch.

Certainly finding more modelling time at the moment!

@maridunian there seems to be a problem with the picture.

Thanks Mike @emjaybee  - is it OK now?

Mike

Er, no.

All I see is a tiny, tiny square, literally a pixel square, and if you click on it it just says loading, but never gets there.

Mardy 1&2 await the day's roster.

Trying to rev myself up to get the lining on the second OQ. Spot the subtle differences, and one or two more on the production version.

A footnote to this thread. Several people have asked about an alternative chassis, both to offer a more accurate representation of the motion, and also to make DCC conversion more straightforward.

I've been in contact with Neville Kent of N Drive Productions and have obtained one of his chasses to experiment with. This has allowed me to adapt the OQ print design to fit an N Drive chassis, and offer that alternative from Shapeways

It appears that this very adaptable chassis might also be suitable for the other Pecketts I've modelled, and I'm reflecting on whether or not to revise their designs also. It also offers opportunities to design from scratch, of course....

That's the trouble with being able to make almost anything out of an idea - the possibilities are infinite, so where to start and where to stop?
