I'll enjoy looking at these films, Leon.  Thank you for posting them.  Many of the places featured are almost on my doorstep, but are no less interesting for that.  Especially as the films give one the opportunity to view familiar places through another person's eyes.

I'd certainly support a sub-board in the 'General Discussion' board for films of non-railway interest.  I almost never look at the 'Jokes' sub-board or the 'Angry Thread', although I'm glad that these are on our Forum as other people like them or find them helpful.  However, I would most certainly look at a sub-board like the one you suggest.

With best wishes.

John

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.

For the made-up background to the railway and list of characters, please see here: https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=38281.msg607991#msg607991

I agree that a sub board of non railway related items like these films could/should be included. If nothing else, they could be justified by saying they are giving people ideas for scenery.

Please note that I was not denigrating anyone's topics or posts; just trying to validate my own idea of an interesting non-railway site. If there are even a couple who view some of the videos and give me positive feedback I'll start a new topic under General Discussion. I'm equally interested in quality videos representing any part of the U. K. Links posted on the Forum get my attention but I seldom search on YouTube. I belong to a Forum for alumni of RAF Kirknewton where I'm seldom disappointed with the quality of posted links of Scottish subjects.
