Are they having the usual problems with credit card machines because of the signal?  If so, I'll remember to take the cheque book tomorrow!

Just leaving TINGS, first time there, but food looked good not too expensive and portion size good, bring cash as many stalls only cash, cash machine in venue very slow and dependant on where vendors are located wifi intermitent plenty of arms waving in the air reminisant of trying to get a decent tv arial signal many years ago, moden technology hey.

This is for next year’s exhibition. Slightly daft having both concurrently. Monday would have been the best time to start this one.

mind you bob /railgooner mentioned the man with the large sack and tude, one idiot walked and barged his way in front of me at one stand, then later swung his sack straight into ray evans , BH enterprises little Granddaughter. Glad i stuck an arm to stop him catching her face - i mentioned it to andy , ray's son, obviously dad, who had a quiet word and thanked me - arrogant rude idiot - maybe the case for stewards
to have a quiet word - just did not need an idiot swearing in front of a child. anyway, super show, stunning layouts, roll on Tank 's show in April 2020

To be fair, after Mr Rucksack-and-tube had poked me  we actually had a convivial little chat.

No Wi-Fi?  Same as every previous year then.  The answer is to go to your local Co-op or supermarket of choice BEFORE getting to the venue, and withdrawing a wodge of cash (£60 in my case) and taking that with you.

Then you don't need a wi-fi signal, and the cash machine won't be melting in the hall.  (To be honest, I fell victim of the cash machine one year when it ran out of cash!)

But then it's clever for me to be a smart arse after the event isn't it?  LOL
