Replace the traction tyres. They're probably oiled and expanded which raises the rear of the loco giving the clash. No need to mill or remove bits of the cab floor.

Seen this on several occasions and tyre change always cured it

Will have a look at that, there was some replacement tyres in the box but they are as old as the Loco and may not be in the best of condition, so will get some new ones before I try changing the ones on there.

 The included spares should be fine - it's running on oily track or getting them oiled that causes this - those in the bag won't be so will be absolutely fine.
