OO / HO Peco spares
« on: July 19, 2019, 03:11:10 PM »
I recently bought a couple of OO/HO Peco security gate kits
https://peco-uk.com/products/security-gate-kit

the idea being to build them for a barracks entrance for the wargames campaign, with some of these as gate guards
https://www.elhiem.co.uk/ourshop/prod_3603691-BAOR17-Royal-Military-Police-in-berets-armed-with-SLRs.html
https://www.elhiem.co.uk/ourshop/prod_5185223-BAOR28-British-Army-in-berets-NCOs-patrol-poses.html
https://www.elhiem.co.uk/ourshop/prod_5185227-BAOR29-British-Army-in-berets-SLR-patrol-poses.html
https://www.elhiem.co.uk/ourshop/prod_5185231-BAOR30-British-Army-in-berets-GPMG-and-SLR-patrol-poses.html

when I started the kit, I found that Peco had basically mixed some sprues from various kits to produce the set, which of course meant spare bits.

I hate binning spare bits, so if of any use to anyone, please PM me, and for the cost of the postage, and if you want a donation to the forum funds, the spares are yours.

the kit includes sprues from
https://peco-uk.com/products/platform-accessories-modern-era?_pos=1&_sid=da35ca2fc&_ss=r

so I'm using the ticket kiosks, but the ticket machines and barriers are available

https://peco-uk.com/products/modern-level-crossing?_pos=7&_sid=e4310cc6e&_ss=r
the flashing light [non working] posts and heads are available, the barriers being used, as is the palisade fencing.

anyone interested, possibly for a second OO scale layout, please PM me.

update.
initial idea was to have a patrol leaving, so using 1 x lowered barrier [in] and 1 x raised barrier [out] but this has changed.

so, if you are prepared to make your own cabinets, 4 x raised barriers will also be available
