Vacuum brake pipes
« on: June 21, 2019, 07:56:29 PM »
Ladies and gentlemen of the NGF,

Your help is sought. I am looking for a source of vacuum brake pipes or an inexpensive way of making them as I have quite a number of vans that should have them but don't.

Any and all suggestions, advice, hints, tips, etc., greatly received.

Twinklekev.

For DIY ones, old guitar strings, the type with wire wound round them; a music or guitar shop should have a selection, may even have some broken ones that they have replaced.  They come in different diameters depending on the note they are to produce, maybe someone on the forum can suggest which string is best suited.
Cheers MIKE

Small diameter thin wire superglued. When dry paint black. Just a thought
