Had a quick flick through this morning and looking forward to digesting the contents at a more leisurely pace.

Can I just ask a question?

Why are we subject to Richard Hayes' life story for almost two pages?

Definitely short of material!

Edit: This article is in 2/19, not 3/19. Apologies.

Definitely short of material!

Promise you that will not be a problem for the next issue! We've comfortably filled 4/19 with stuff submitted by members (nothing from the Editor bar his editorial) and we've got a fair amount already for 5/19.

But, and I will keep saying this, if people want to submit articles, long or short, please get in touch! Just PM me here, and we can take it from there. Experience of writing is absolutely not a requirement, and I'm deliberately trying to define the Editor's role as less about submitting content, and more about helping members get their articles and photos in the Journal.

Cheers, NeMo

about helping members get their articles and photos in the Journal.

Glad to hear that you've got plenty of material to get you started - transitions from one editor to another can sometimes be the trickiest time so I'm really pleased to hear that you have material.

I think your aim of helping members get their material in the Journal is laudable as well, my only caveat is you will inevitably have to make a decision about quality (not just quality of the modelling, but things like quality of images).

Good luck!

Mike
