Long Hirston - N Gauge Modules
« on: May 06, 2019, 08:17:06 AM »
The Northumberland Area Group of the N Gauge Society have been constructing modules over the last couple of years. A slight adaptation of the standard format.
They can operate in DC and DCC. We have used a Raspberry Pie computer, running JIMRI, to create an intranet. Then we use android 'phones or tablets, running Engine Driver, to control everything.

Here is a video showing progress so far. A few peculiar background noises as the video clips were recorded during working sessions in the club room.

Thankyou for a very comprehensive video.  It's amazing what you can do with a few Metcalfe kits!  I do like the way the modules fit together.
With kind regards
Laurence

Thatís all looking really good.
Nice to see the St Austell Brewery creep in there.
If it looks right then it most probably is right.

Thanks Laurence
It is brilliant the way the modules quickly fit together every time we put up the layout. All the careful construction on each module certainly pays off.
Cheers,
Ged.
