Hi all,

Does anyone have an historic timeline for the various liveries that are being done?

Thanks

That certainly looks impressive. Can't use one myself but it will I'd imagine be a good seller. Well done Osbornes

Hi all,

I asked a question on groups.io and Maurice has responded to it (thanks Maurice).....

Quote -

"These cranes are collectively known as the War-Time 45Ton Cranes  and were supplied to the GWR, SR, Ministry of Supply (2 for the LNER and 1 for Longmoor) and the War Office between 1940 and 1946 and totaled 16."

My own look at t'internet provides a list of the ones that are preserved.

E8136    Ransomes & Rapier    1940    SR    1561S    ADRR95210    45    Steam    Working Order    Swanage Railway
E8137-8    Ransomes & Rapier    1940    GWR    17    ADRR95208    45    Steam    Working Order    Great Central Railway
E8137-8    Ransomes & Rapier    1940    GWR    18    ADRR95212    45    Steam    Out of Service    Carnforth
E8137-8    Ransomes & Rapier    1940    GWR    19    ADRR95213    45    Steam    Working Order    The Flour Mill Ltd
5937/49    Ransomes & Rapier    1943    MoS    WD214         45    Steam    Out of Service    Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway
F4991-3    Ransomes & Rapier    1943    LNER    941601    ADRR95214    45    Steam    Out of Service    North York Moors Railway - Newbridge
F4991-3    Ransomes & Rapier    1943   LNER    951516    ADRR95215    45    Steam    Out of Service    Bluebell Railway
F9162    Ransomes & Rapier    1945    SR    1580S    ADRR95216    45    Steam    Working Order    Mid-Hants Railway

So, we are talking about the cranes I thought were being done, just none of them is suitable for me or my modelling region/era.

Other liveries?

A Google search does show up some additional paint schemes that could be done.

Most of them are simple to apply as they are additional paint feature to the ones that Maurice is releasing.

Thanks
Phil H
