The  AW139  model is only 9.5 cm long and and the real thing approx 16.66 m length so is slightly under scale but it is the most likely helicopter  available to seen currently in air sea rescue. Themost common air ambulances in my area are ec135 and ec145 but i cannot find a model of them ,

That's an AW189, and currently undergoing maintenance iat my place of work.

139 previously were operated under Coastguard colours, but all now AW189s or S92s.

Anxiety is a lot like a toddler. It never stops talking, tells you you’re wrong about everything, and wakes you up at 3am.

I get nervous about just about everything. Sometimes I literally don’t know why I’m anxious. I just am and no-one seems to understand that.

F-Toys 1:144 RAF EH-101 Merlin

Description says the model is about 15cm long ?
Does that sound right for 1:144 scale ?

Galoob / Micromachines did some military helicopters some years ago - might be worth looking out for these, not sure of the scale though.

22.77m long, at 1:144 that's 15.8cm.

I bought a couple of helicopters online, one is already an air ambulance, though I think it is a private (German?) one.  I'll see if I can find it and post a photo later.

Here is the other one, a military variant, hovering over Deansmoor:

No apology needed. The two can be easily confused. I instruct maintenance on the 189s (and a few other types), so reasonably familiar at first sight!

Looks like it is meant to be an Airbus (Eurocopter)/Kawasaki H145/BK117.

Revell 1:144 AH-64D Longbow Apache

Not for the feint-hearted as the kit contains almost 80 parts.

Then there are numerous transfers, including some stripes to go on the Hellfire missiles.

I might get around to mine later in the year.  Got some real n-gauging to do first.
