That's some tremendous modelling there. I love the scenics that you're developing. Excellent job!

:thankyousign:

After years of fruitless attempts it's very rewarding to see that at last a layout starts to take shape! :D

Mailman was here with the latest addition to the fleet:

Sadly, I'll have to send this one back. The Dapol 68 is a great looking model but qc seems to be non-existent.

It's got marks all over one wheel as if the dog chewed on it. Then there's one bent wiper, the windscreen sits half-loose in the frame and there's a rather big smudge of glue on the yellow panel around the glazing of one front lamp. And they managed to fit two left buffers on one side. Whoever put this loco together obviously didn't care too much... :scowl:
But I still want a 68! It's not exactly the most common visitor on the Cornish Mainline but I understand that 68s still appear at Penzance from time to time.

Superb modeling and attention to detail, the best I've seen on here in a short while!

Car park and road markings I feel let layouts down when small detail like this is overlooked and not done properly.  However your markings really do add a realistic touch, along with those patches of tarmac where the workman have been!

Well done

A question one might ask oneself... :hmmm:

I got it from Hatton's and they instantly suggested to send it back as it is. No complaints here.
