NGS Journal Editor - Vacancy
« on: February 03, 2019, 05:48:38 PM »
It has recently been announced that the current NGS Journal editor will be stepping down, subsequent to the 3rd journal of the year (03/19). There is therefore a vacancy within the society to take over the position, and volunteers are sought.

Details can be found here:

http://newweb.ngaugesociety.com/?page_id=117

If you think you have the required time and skills, and are interested in joining the NGS team and committee, then get in touch via the supplied email address.

Best

Scott

Oooh! Does this mean the journal is staying at A5 and not moving to A4 format?

Really enjoyed Grahame's editorship of the NGS Journal - it has become a very professional publication.  I am sure the new editor will have their own ideas/plans but it is sad to see Grahame stop.

Thank you Grahame.

For those that missed it Grahame Hedges announced a year ago in Journal 1/18 that he would be stepping down after the 2019 AGM. In JournaL 1/19 he wrote that he would only stay on if the format was changed to A4. Presumably we can expect a re-introduction of N'spirations in A4 format.

Shame Graham feels he has to resign just when I have come round to his way of thinking regards the size of the journal.  The last two journals have been good but I can see they would be that much more njoyable is bigger.
