Love the liveries on some of those EMUs.

I've been blogging about locations in the Netherlands recently and some of those models would be perfect for that.

Plus a model of a Swiss EMU. Nice!

I'm surprised Piko think there's room in the market for yet another V200 model.

Must get a BR440 unit, that'll go very nicely on Königshafen!

The SNCF Lunéa set is a bit odd. The description is First class coach plus service coach. Although the service coach uses the second class bodyshell, it has a completely different livery from the standard second class one in the illustration. The scope is there, of course, for a parallel set bringing the set up to 4 coaches, say 1 x first, 1x service coach, 2 x second class.

Well, that's interesting.
I look forward to the class 44. Glad that Fleischmann do them; hope they're not as pricey as Minitrix...
I'm surprised they're doing a class 118 diesel.

Cheers,
Michael

A few Fleischmann Swiss items of interest for me, though having spent well over my rolling stock budget over the last month or so, perhaps caution may prevail for a while.

Nice to see they have reissued the SBB EWIV Passenger coaches with new model numbers and serials, and the Steuerwagen (driving trailer) 890185 will probably be my first acquisition later, as a second one has long been on my wishlist.  It’s previous incarnation, 890184, had an SRP of €52.00.

Edit: Fleischmann Website give price for new issue 890185 as €56.
Thanks to @GScaleBruce for pointing me to Fleischmann site for prices.

Concerning the 'new' Fleischmann Br44, it is interesting to try to determine how much is left over from the old Roco Br44. The lower end of the combination lever is a hang over from the Roco days, but the motion bracket, and the front end in general seems to be a vast improvement. Cab steps are there, something the old Roco coal burner did not have for some reason.
In general, an infinitely better rendition of the front end of a 'Jumbo'.
Will I buy one? I already have four Minitrix Br44s and three Roco examples. Concerning the old Roco Br44, the first two were from the mid 1980s, with drive on all five axles, but the third one, bought from Bernie Victor in 1996 and with only the third, fourth and fifth axles geared together, was not so good. All my Roco ones will eventually have an extensive front end rebuild and general detailing. The Roco motion is far too wide, especially with the oversized top end of the combination lever.
I did manage to get  enough tender cab step units from Minitrix a few years back.
Mind you, how many Br44s does a Mosel/Eifel based layout need? The answer, lots!

Agreed, could be that they're using some old Roco tooling. On the other hand, it says 'Neukonstruktion 2019'...
Will be interesting to see them when they actually appear. You can't really judge from the picture, especially as it says 'Rendering'.
However, still interested in the DR oil variant :D

MINITRIX 2019 list released:

Looks like both Minitrix and Fleischmann are going to release the V160 powered by a gas turbine.  :confused2:
