Revolution Round Up 2018
« on: December 29, 2018, 10:51:54 AM »
Hello all,

It's that time again!

As 2018 draws to a close we've prepared a short summary of a year which has seen us deliver the Pendolino and our first transition era model, the Class B tanker:

https://www.revolutiontrains.com/news/

For those who just want to cut to the chase here is an infographic summary:

As ever we'd like to thank Rapido Trains for their amazing work, our new manufacturing partner Sonic Models, two other factories we have been using, those traders who've supported us including C&M, Cheltenham Model Centre, Collett's Models, Kernow Model Rail Centre, Plus Daughters, Rails of Sheffield, Osborne's and Trains4U.

We'd also like to say thanks to this forum and its members and the model railway press for their ongoing interest and support.

Next year we have more exciting plans for what will be Revolution's 5th anniversary!

cheers

Ben A.

Great stuff. I look forward to being able to register/order the class 128, the Cemflos and the 56xx but will they be to order from Revolution or Accurascale/Sonic please?

Hi there,

The Class 128s and Cemflos will be via the Revolution site, and sometime in the new year.  We anticipate that traders will take some to answer the demands of anyone who misses out on preordering.

The 56XX hasn't been decided yet.

Either way, our website, facebook and twitter pages and relevant threads here will be updated when order books open.

Cheers

Ben A.

A great idea to show the products and their development in one image.

I for one appreciate not only your brilliant efforts, but your openness and willingness to engage with your [potential] customers. :thankyousign:

Hear hear. Great products, and a fantastic example of how to ‘do’ social media engagement with your customers and would-be customers.

Can’t wait for the 92s and IPAs particularly! An exciting 2019 ahead!

Thank you for this informative post.

Having read such wonderful things about Revolution Trains, I am so looking forward to the release of the Great Western '56xx' 0-6-2T.

Best wishes for a happy and successful 2019.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1920s to the 1950s.
