There is a lot of lens distortion as Iím using a phone to take the shots.

All the handles are done and I'm starting on the ends.  There are a few paint chips and a few bleeds of yellow but these are easily touched up when I start the detail painting.

Once I have added all the end detail I will add the buffer beams.  I have held off doing these until I was sure of coupling clearances (or whether not to fit couplings).

The 2Bills ran in multiples of pairs so some ends will need couplings, however the Tadpoles did not so will have full buffer beams.

Seriously impressive modeling. I'm really enjoying (and learning a lot from) seeing these EMUs coming to 'life'  :headbang:

The bodies are now complete awaiting glazing.  The transfers were printed and added and a top cote of satin varnish.  I may dull the roofs later, however I will await the curing of the paint to see how it looks first and the alternative will be a bit of weathering.

While the paint and varnish harden it's time to get on with the chassis and to wire them for sound.

After a month house building (fun  :-X) I managed to cut the glazing for the coaches on my laser today.  I did a set in Bristol board first to check for fit having scanned the coach sides and feeding the result to my CAD.

With any luck I will get them fitted over the next few days.  Here they are taped to the scans so I don't get them mixed up  :)

That's the plan, once the glazing is in it's just a case of assembling them as I have already got the chassis wired and running.  The last parts to add will be the under frames which are folded brass and wont take long to do.

The nice thing about the pause id the paint and varnish is really hard.

Some completion shots.

All nine units, six 2BIL and three Tadpoles will be running on Wokingham at the Berkshire Area Group N Soc. show on Saturday.

We had a test run last night on Wokingham and they ran well and looked very good.  I think @cazadoom took some photos which will go up on our club Facebook page soon.
