US railroad decals
« on: February 17, 2012, 10:13:30 PM »
Hi,

Thought I'd start this post to list all the companies that make US railroad decals in N Gauge.

The main one being Microscale
http://www.microscale.com/

Highball Graphics specialise on New England Railroads
http://www.mgdecals.com/homepage.htm

Trainworx. Mainly Rio Grande.
http://www.train-worx.com/

Oddballs Decals
http://www.oddballsdecals.org/

Feel free to add more.

Hi Ash,

I've tried making my own decals but they never turn out very great. Most of the decals I need are white and trying to do all the stencilling for box cars is beyond me, hence the reason for starting this list of suitable suppliers.

Anyone got any recommendations for decals to represent the stickers used to renumber locos after the Railroad have been taken over eg ex Conrails taken on by Norfolk Southern ( see link of SD40-2)  http://railroadstrains.blogspot.com/2010/08/ns-3407-sd40-3-locomotive-engine.html
Regards
Daryl
