Great progress. It's very spacious even with all the track down. This should be a really great layout - or should I say Pike just to keep in with US lingo? :D

I have completed the initial wiring on the middle baseboard of 3, it is the simplest of the 3 with only 2 point motors, I still have to add the accessory decoder and its associated wiring.[2 wires for DCC Ha-Ha]

Baseboard Number 3 has now been fully wired, I now need to go back to boards 1 & 2 to fit the DCC accessory decoders for the points/switches now I have them in hand.

I have today powered up my Fleischmann thinking turntable for the first time, it is smooth, quite and easy to control. As you can see even the largest of US diesels fit on it.

Someone asked if there was any problems entering/exiting the turn table this shows I have no problem.

I have finally got board 3 wired and programmed ready to start operational testing of the full Toothill 2 layout. As you can all see DCC only uses 2 wires

The operational trials begin, the outer loop performs as designed, I have made a Boo-Boo on the inner loop I have crossed the wires on the right hand slip so some remedial work is required to get the inner loop up and running.
