Looks promising, but I do have one slight doubt... do you get pine trees in the desert? Not being a frequenter of deserts I wouldn't know for sure, but it doesn't look quite right to me.

I have had a go at making some Cacti for Toothill,(as there does not seem to be any available in n scale except from shapeways at £45 for about a dozen).I think I might need to lighten/brighten the shade of green I have painted them.

Yes they are HO so would scale out at 34ft tall in n, I may be wrong but that seems way to tall.
