Without question the BoB/WC is by far the more versatile loco and would, I would say sell a lot better. I think there are even pics of one pulling a single coach!

Yup, possibly the ultimate in motive power overkill. :D

Well, that's just not good enough. Some fount of all knowledge you are!   ;)

W/C - B.O.B will be RRP 199 only info I know

How much?  :jawdropping:

I still have the original Hattons pre-order for 99. I wonder what the chances are of persuading them to honour it?

It was certainly announced at that price in the afternoon session.  As a higher spec model with die-cast body.

Long overdue are some new wagon announcements - some of their OO prototypes are as yet unmodeled in N gauge.
EG: the long wheelbase 9-plank, the rectangular (tar) tank wagon and the 4-plank wagon-
There are plenty more possible liveries to warrant another run of 8-plank wagons too - as long as they don't come in bubble packs this time (OK so Farish do 8-plank wagons as well but there's enough scope for both)
As for quick fixes (new liveries for existing profiles) how about scaling down some of the in-house liveries from other scales?
Here are a few:
4F-013-102  Gunpowder Van Chas Nelson
4F-038-106 20T steel mineral Richard Thomas
4F-034-029 21T Hopper "Liverpool Corporation"
7F-031-005  6 Wheel Milk Tanker St Ivel

7 Plank End door Wagons:
4F-071-102  Arthur Wharton #3018 grey
4F-071-138  The Fife Coal Company #3179 red
4F-071-142  United #3154 black
B536  Crosfields' Perfection Soap #84 red

What does the team think?

Have these liveries been suggested to Dapol?

And am I right that the rectank is already done elsewhere?  I thought Peco did one, but I may be wrong.

The Rectank was produced by Graham Farish in the ‘70s but has not been produced since Bachmann took over. PECO haven't done one. Dapol do one in OO scale.

I haven’t yet sent my suggestions to Dapol.
