The pics don't show it but all the power and switch cables have now been dropped through the baseboard, so there will be temporary running soon.

That's when progress will slow dramatically. Don't ask how I know  :-[

The whole world in 13' x 3'. That is truly ambitious. I look forward to this.

They say we Brits build model stations. The Americans build whole Railroads. Grumbeast, however, builds the entire planet!

Ok,  so had a bit of an epiphany, have changed the track plan a bit and moved Canada to where Germany was and vice-versa.  The new changes give me a small yard, some industrial switching and feels much more operable while also allowing me to fit in buildings more effectively.  Iíve temporarily place building just to play with where they might be

Hereís whatís going on

New location of Germany

Location of Canada

New location of Germany

Hi, that green station building and glass canopies, who was the maker? Pola or Faller or Ö? My grandpa had the same. :)

Hi,

The station building might be Lima but I'm pretty sure it's by Ibertren. Spanish company that are still going, I think. Their buildings are old but come up on ebay now and again.

Hope am right and helps a bit.

Cheers weave  :beers:

Had a look around for old N scale stations. I think it is Faller 2110 although it doesnít look so :sick2: green in these photos. Maybe a newer version of the same station.

I purchased an old kit years ago (maybe Pola) of a supposedly American station building, which I was told by the box was N, but the doors and windows were undoubtedly designed for HO plastic people.

No worries, used the bits anyway.

Fatherís Day let me make some progress on the control panel and fascia.  Iíve also had to abandon the multiple countries idea.. itís was just hurting my head too much so Iím back to this being the Nova Scotia SouthShore again. But not to fear, I have loads of unitrack left so Iím going to do some smaller modular stuff for all the other countries railways I love!, I just want to make some storage space for them first and get this layout operational..
