A Tomytec MB Citaro 0530 in 1/160 scale - model no 264569 - that I have is:

Length: 74mm
Width: 16mm
Height: 19mm

So just slightly longer than those described by Bruce.

Edit: Woodbury has better eyesight than me . My eagle-eyes wife says ithe Tomytec is just under 74mm too!

 :beers: all round.

I know this is supposed to be a model railway forum, but we don't want people driving to, or more importantly home from, the Hotel Adler...

The inn is served by the town bus service as well as by the DB buses...

You have a great collection of buses Bruce. I hope you don't mind if I take the thread over the border into Switzerland in order to show some of my collection of Swiss buses. They are mostly modern ones to fit in with the period that I model and as such don't have the character and detail of the older buses but in my mind they are still an essential part of any model railway.
In mountain areas small buses are often required and here are a couple of ones operated by Swiss Postauto. A MB Sprinter and a Ford Transit both by Rietze.

The next one is a slightly larger three axle Setra S319NF Postauto again produced by Rietze.

Passing the Gastof Bären is a Mercedes 0 404 a very common type used by Postauto and yet another Rietze model.

The pride of my collection is this old timer Mercedes used for enthusiast trips and made by Lemke.

This Grindelwald Bus Mercedes 0 404 is another Rietze offering.........

.........together with this Mercedes Citaro operated by the private BLS railway company.

Finally a general view of the small bus/rail interchange station on my layout.
