Not sure about the soundtrack, but the layout looks excellent, particularly the track.

Thank you very much, Maurits, for posting this excellent film of a marvellous model railway.

I think it would be splendid if your neighbour joined our happy crew on the Forum!

Thanks again and best wishes.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1920s to the 1950s.

That is indeed fantastic modelling. Far better than I could achieve! The finescale track looks great, and stock seems to run smoothly.

My only slight criticism (and I have a guilty feeling even suggesting this), is that with such brilliant modelling, the exits at each end of the scenic section could do with a little more disguising.

Great stuff!

The track makes all the difference hence why Peco will never feature on any future layout of mine. Great layout.

A magnificent layout, beautifully modelled and yes, the trackwork looks exquisite.

Fantastic stuff and only a few miles down the line from where I grew up.  I even know a couple who live in one of the old railway cottages so will be showing them this next time I see them.

What a wonderful bit of modelling! I think I've shared a conversation with the builder on Facebook. If I can make my layout look half as good as that, I'll be very happy!

That's what puts me off 2mm FS, the sheer cost and pain of having to re-wheel everything!
