Hi @Marshi you said the magic word - 'Kato'.  :). I have a, (surface), tram line on my layout. In a nutshell, it is a single line with a unitrack point at either end. The points are under a tram shed/block of shops I scratch built so can not been seen. I have a ...... (forgot the flippin' word ), but one of those gizmos that shut off power to the track and then after a period of time, returns power, but with the polarities reversed. That way, I can have one tram go into a shed and whilst the power is shut off, throw a switch that operates both points and, voila, a different tram comes out of the shed.  This, apart from the throwing of the point switch, is all done automatically.

I converted the double tram track to single track by, basically, cutting it down the middle. This is how I did it -

I look forward to seeing how the layout progresses.  :beers:

Just checked the link above and there is no pictures showing when I look .....  ???

Hello Andy, and welcome to the forum
Glad you've come to your senses and seen the 'proper' gauge and what it can do :D
How about a post in the Intro section letting us know a bit more about your plans such as any particular location, era, track system etc?

Hi Andy and welcome to the forum. As has often been said, there is only one stupid question - the one you didn't ask!
