I'm going first thing on Sunday, hopefully I'll see @LASteve , he's hoping to be there.

I'll be there as long as the traffic co-operates. We probably won't be there at photo-op time, but we'll see. We're meeting some friends in the afternoon near Oxford.

If any of you see a 5' tall American/Japanese lady, and a big white guy at least twice her size, that's us :) Come and say hello :)

If you don't make it to the mug shots, post a few selfies for us!

Just been pinged by Stuart/grid078 to say that the new Sonic  56xx is being test run on James St.

Managed to see the 56xx running on the Revolution stand. Beautiful model. I thought that someone into sound (I think it was Legomanbiffa) was a little rude to the designer Sam, saying “well I guess it was ok to be Chinese (!)” and then berated him about not designing in a next 18 socket.
Oh well you can’t please Everyone.
Missed Ben but saw Mike, and Paul Churchill. There must have been a murder somewhere!
The Revolution announcements have already appeared here, but there is nothing like seeing something in the flesh. The 320/321 looked good. Better than the Farish 318/319(?) which looks a bit too flat nosed to me. Roll on the 313/314 and the 128 parcels DMU, and the cemflows.
Joined the Dapol fan club again to get a green 50007. Rule 1 but the other 50s I have bought have superb electrics and are super runners.
One or two decent offers and I did spend some money, but it was my birthday! I ran out of cash before I could buy some more VEAs.
My worst experience was on arrival. I needed a loo break and was standing at the metal urinal when this tall chap peed directly onto the steel at 90 degrees so it splattered everywhere including over my bare arm. He was oblivious, but he was so tall he probably didn’t see me.

Best
Bob

Looking forward to going tomorrow!

Was going to go with my dad, but he’s stuck in Spain, so if anyone vaguely en route from West Sussex fancies a lift, just shout, late notice I realise!

Did anyone see Mr Kato there?

Yes, good point, they were meant to be talking more about their 800 weren’t they?

Happy Birthday @Bob G  - hope your experience did not 'dampen' your enjoyment of the day.  :)

From Kato? UK outline? Spoil away as far as I’m concerned.

Hahaha!
I also got for a birthday treat a secondhand Hall from anoraks anonymous- think it was Pissington Hall, or maybe it was Widdleham Grange 😉
